About Me

My background, experience, and focus areas

๐Ÿง  What I'm Known For

I'm a systems thinker and creative problem-solver who transforms complexity into strategy, and strategy into tangible results.

For the past decade, I've operated at the heart of NASA's most ambitious missions, building ground data systems, leading mission operations, and keeping spacecraft safe millions of miles from Earth. My work spans product development, DevOps, and operations leadership, pairing deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate effectively, align stakeholders, and drive complex projects forward. Whether architecting a system, scaling infrastructure, or tackling high-stakes operational challenges, I'm known for delivering elegant, high-impact solutions under pressure.

๐Ÿš€ Career Highlights

  • Mission Operations Systems Engineer, Mars 2020 Rover, INCUS Constellation, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter & Europa Clipper
    • Led mission-level system design and planning, orchestrated cross-team coordination, resolved high-stakes anomalies and built secure, scalable tools and infrastructure in AWS GovCloud, Python, Perl and more.
  • Ground Data Systems Engineer, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter & INCUS Constellation
    • Built ground data system infrastructure for handling mission telemetry, managed system readiness, cyber compliance, and system resilience.
  • Mission Manager, Lunar Flashlight
    • Navigated a significant propulsion anomaly in-flight, protected scientific return, and championed innovation under pressure.
  • Subject Matter Expert, Miniature Inertial Measurement Units
    • Published original research and analysis on the long-term behavior of miniaturized IMUs in deep-space environments, informing future mission design and reliability expectations.
  • Jack of All Trades, NEAScout, OCO-2, SMAP, Mars Relay Operations and other missions
    • I've also supported NEAScout, OCO-2, SMAP, and other missionsโ€”writing tools, leading documentation, and stepping in wherever needed, always learning and growing to get the job done.

๐ŸŽ“ Education

  • M.S. in Product Development Systems Engineering, USC (2024)
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, USC (2017)

๐Ÿ† Recognition

  • Individual Awards โ€” Voyager Award (Europa Clipper), Honors Award (Lunar Flashlight), and Directorate-level recognition (MRO, MaRos)
  • Group Achievement Awards โ€” Multiple NASA/JPL commendations across missions
  • Consistently recognized for "leadership", "outstanding engineering analysis," "dedication," and "innovative problem-solving"
